West Pokot County, Kenya
GRETFUP is a youth-led, community-based organisation championing environmental conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods across West Pokot County.
Our Story
Green the Future Programme (GRETFUP) was founded by environmental champions determined to tackle the growing climate crisis in West Pokot County — where deforestation, water scarcity, and declining agricultural productivity threatened communities daily.
We work alongside youth, women, farmers, schools, and local governments to restore ecosystems and build lasting climate resilience through community-driven, technology-enabled solutions.
Long-term environmental, social, and economic impact
Technology and creative approaches for climate action
Communities at the center of every intervention
Accountability and transparency in all our work
